Jennifer started her own training with The New Hampshire School of Ballet under the direction of her aunt Suzanne Taylor, whose
mother Lena Taylor founded the school in 1965. Jennifer studied and performed with the school for eighteen years and joined the
"NH Ballet Ensemble" dance company from 1987-1989. Jennifer also went on to compete in the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship
Program, winning such local titles as Miss Manchester and Miss Plymouth State Fair. In 1988, Jennifer won Third Runner-up in the
Miss New Hampshire Pageant. In 1989 she won all the community service awards, won talent, and placed Second Runner-up.
Today, Jennifer continues to choreograph and judge for the pageant system.
In 1989, Jennifer purchased The New Hampshire School of Ballet from her aunt and proceeded to carry on the family dream of
bringing quality dance training to students in New Hampshire. In 1990, Jennifer started an annual tradition by producing The
Nutcracker for audiences in Manchester and then later expanded to Concord. All performers are New Hampshire School of Ballet
students. With falling snow and a twelve foot growing Christmas tree, audiences marvel at this professional production and are
delighted at the quality of dance demonstrated.
During this same time period, Jennifer began her own performing Company and Competition Teams, which have taken countless first place and high score awards at
regional competitions like Headliners, American Dance Awards, StarQuest, Dance Masters of America, and North American Ballet Festival competitions. Her students
have won numerous awards such as Junior, Miss, Teen, and Mr. titles at the local and national level, as well as Dancer of the Year. Jennifer's choreography has also won
numerous awards for outstanding choreography. She has been certified with "Dance Masters of America" since 1991, and has been on the Board of Directors for the New
England chapter for the last 6 years. Jennifer continues to open doors for her students through workshops and auditions, and teaches master classes throughout New
England and judges competition both regionally and nationally in the US and Canada. Her students have gone Jennifer is married and has two children.

Mary Beth has studied dance at various studios throughout Manchester NH, New York, and Boston MA. She completed her studies at The New
Hampshire School of Ballet from 1991-1995. After graduating from NHSB, She went to the University of New Hampshire, where she was a member
of the UNH dance company. She received her BFA in Dance, with a minor in business, in 1999. While there, she received four scholarships for
dance and was awarded the prestigious Jean Mattox Scholarship for excellence in dance her final year. She completed a teacher workshop at
Broadway Dance Center in 2006 and 2009.
Mary Beth currently is a full time lecturer at the University of New Hampshire teaching jazz, tap and dance history. She is an adjudicator on the
regional and national level for Dance Xplosion National Talent Tour. She currently choreographs for the NHSB Dance Company, The Portsmouth
School of Ballet Dance Company and the University of New Hampshire Dance Company. Mary Beth lives in the Seacoast area with her husband
and new daughter, Audrey.

Megan Nallan has trained at the New Hampshire School of Ballet under the guidance of Jennifer Rienert since the age of five. While a student
at the New Hampshire School of Ballet, Megan also had the opportunity to dance with the pop singing duo Fantasy. They performed
throughout the United States including Miami , with such artists as Nick Cannon, JC Chasez, Chingy and Lenny Kravitz. The group opened for
O-Town, performed at the Mill City Festival, and were a headlining act for the WJYY-105.5 Christmas Jam. In November 2003, Megan
traveled west to join Fantasy and performed at the Los Angeles Music Awards, where they were nominated for two major awards.
After many years of performing and competing with the New Hampshire School of Ballet, she is now a full-time faculty member at the studio
teaching ballet, jazz, tap, Pointe and lyrical. Megan attended Point Park University . She has earned an Associates degree in General
Studies with an emphasis in Business Studies and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance at the University of New
Since Megan began choreographing for the competition team at NHSB, she has won numerous high score and choreography awards, both
regionally and nationally, and was named the regional Young Choreographer of the Year in both 2006 and 2008. Megan has been a guest
teacher for various studios throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire .
Manchester native Natalie Brankin received her early dance instruction at the New Hampshire School of Ballet under the direction of Jennifer
Rienert where she was on the competition team for two years. Over the years she has studied with numerous teachers and studios in the New
England area including the Adult Ballet program through the Boston Ballet. Natalie has been a student of dance for over twenty years and has
taught dance locally for over ten.
As New Hampshire’s Junior Miss in 1998, she competed in the America’s Junior Miss Program in Mobile, AL. Natalie also held the title of Miss
Rockingham County in 2004 where she then went on to win first-runner up honors at Miss NH that same year as well as the Miss America
Scholastic Achievement award.
Natalie received her BA in Mathematics from Saint Anselm College and her Masters in Education through Providence College. She taught high
school math for eight years. Natalie is married and has a son, Patrick.
Natalie is thrilled to be back teaching at NHSB and is excited to share her passion for dance to all of her students this year.
Modern, Ballet, Leaps/Turns
Ashley O'Donnell started dancing at a very young age and has been teaching for the last 13 years. At the age of 12 she started dancing at
NHSB and that's when she knew she wanted to take dance seriously and make it her career. She danced many lead roles at NHSB including
the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, and Dew Drop Fairy in The Nutcracker; the Black Swan in Swan Lake; and the "Romantic Girl" in
Graduation Ball. She also danced with the competition team holding many regional titles for Headliner's and ADA as well as winning National
High Score Solo.
Upon graduating high school she studied dance at the University of Hartford, finishing with her BFA in ballet pedagogy in 2007. While there she
danced with some amazing choreographers and her own choreography was chosen to enter the American College Dance festival. After leaving
the Hartt school she danced for the Bare Bones Dance Theater for a year before deciding to focus on teaching and choreographing. She has
taught at studios all around New England including NHSB, Diane Kelley Dance studio, Lisa Pilato Dance Center, Sally Gould Dance center and
many others. She is now married, has three kids, and teaching dance full time. She is super excited to be back teaching here at NHSB!
Teaches Ballet and Tap
Samantha Brown grew up locally and has been dancing since the age of three. She is a graduate of the University of NH with a dual BA in
French and Theatre with Dance Emphasis and also has her Masters degree in Education from Southern NH University.
Having passed all ballet examinations through the advanced level in her RAD study, she has earned her ARAD from the Royal Academy of
Dancing in England.
She has danced for many local companies including Ballet New England, the Portland Ballet Company, the New England Dance Ensemble, the
UNH Dance Company, and the Portsmouth Ballet Company. Samantha is excited to join the NH School of Ballet this year teaching ballet and tap.
Kayla has studied dance for twenty five years and spent much of that time as a student at NHSB. She has always loved the discipline
required by ballet and her favorite roles included Sugar Plum Fairy, Odette and Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera).
Kayla attended Summer Intensives at Burklyn Ballet Theatre, Paul Taylor Dance Company and Steps on Broadway and
went on to pursue her BFA in Dance Performance at the Boston Conservatory. While completing her M.Ed at Bank
Street College of Education in NYC she taught in the NYC public schools, became certified in Little Flower Yoga and furthered
her study of Pilates. Kayla has returned home to Hooksett, NH where she lives with her husband and their daughter, Clara.
She loves teaching children of all ages as well as adults and is thrilled to be back with NHSB.
Nicole has been dancing since the age of three and graduated from New Hampshire School of Ballet directed by Jennifer Rienert in 1994.
She attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell where she was a member and choreographer of the dance team and cheerleading
team. She received as B.S. in Exercise Physiology.
Nicole has been teaching for for over 15 years and has been on the NHSB staff since 2001. She has held many coaching and teaching
roles in karate and cheerleading as well.
Nicole is currently working as a Cardiac Sonographer at Concord Hospital. She shares her home with her husband since 2006 and as many
animals as he will allow. She is proud to be teaching at NHSB and enjoys watching her students grow.
Kayla is 12 year veteran as a competitive gymnast for United States Gymnastics Federation. Post competitive
retirement Kayla has coached at numerous gymnastics facilities from tiny tots and tumbling classes to
competitive high school teams.
Kayla was a seven year student of NHSB. Having started studying dance to improve on her gymnastics
foundations, it was dance-love at first class with Jennifer!
Kayla currently resides in the Boston area, a yoga fanatic and works at the fitness based supplement
company, Game Plan.
Ashley began dancing at the age of three and spent much of that time training at New Hampshire School of Ballet. She
spent six years as part of their competition team and won many awards. During her time at New Hampshire School of
Ballet she performed in the Nutcracker for many years. Ashley is trained in many genres of dance including Ballet, Pointe,
Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and Tap. After graduating from New Hampshire School of Ballet, Ashley continued
her dance training at Dean College. She had the privilege of training under Jill Silverman, Laura Young, Gregory King,
and Bryan Steele. She was also part of Dean Colleges Pointe and Modern Companies and performed in numerous shows.
At Dean Ashley studied Dance History, Rhythmic Analysis, Dance Composition, Dance Anatomy, Creative Movement, and
Pedagogy. After receiving her Associates of Art in Dance degree in 2012 she went on to study Mental Health at Southern
New Hampshire University where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree. Ashley enjoys continuing her dance
education and has attended many Dance Teacher Seminars at the Dancelife Retreat Center. Ashley has been teaching in
the New England area for the past five years and is looking forward to spreading her knowledge of dance where her

Kayla Parcels- Tumbling
Nicole M Baron
Nicole is a Manchester, NH native who began her dance training at age 13. After years of competitive
gymnastics training she found her love of dance at a local studio where she recently returned as the lead
Acro instructor. Nicole possesses experience in a wide range of dance styles including jazz, tap, ballet,
modern, lyrical, pointe, hip-hop and contemporary. She is a graduate of Point Park University with a
Bachelor’s of the Arts in Dance Pedagogy and a concentration in Jazz Dance. While at Point Park Nicole
was able to study and work with renowned teachers and choreographers including Ron Tassone, Kiesha
Lalama White, Jason McDole, Ron Hutson, Susan Stowe, and Jill Lazzini. In addition, Nicole is a certified
Acrobatic Arts instructor which focuses on balanced and safe acrobatic training specifically designed for
dancers. With her knowledge, training and passion, Nicole wishes to inspire her students to find their own
love for dance.
